WORN AND TIRED OLD BATTERED GOD

Worn and tired old battered god,

Why do you fire like a liquid flame

Upward and slanted at a shooting star;

So peculiar is earth, what direction seest thou?

How do you thrust through fragmented chaos?

Is death now, or can we wait?
