CURLING LIGHT

I was caught in curling light

That pulled through my warm veins like love,

Wine of intense brightness hovering

Moth-like through incandescent trees

Round the flowered pond, streaming water,

Radiating all into Now.

Moi, j’étais pris en une lumière bouclée

Laquelle palpitait par mes veines comme I’amour,

Vin de I’éclat intense rôdant

Presque phalène par les arbres incandesants

Autour, I’étang de fleurs, Iéau ruisselant,

Le rayonnant tout de Maintenant.
