ODDYSSEUS

Resourceful Oddysseus, why did you never age

In the twenty years of wandering, diving through the waves,

Your spirit never flagging, though weakened temporarily

By monstrous smashing waves, or the Sirens dangerous song,

Only to recover, recuperate from the abyss

Of shipwrecked sleep, exhaustion,

Upon bedraggled rocks?
