MEMORIES OF A PREVIOUS STRUCTURE

Rack the light in the ancient sky,

Break or bust the cave’s door:

You are you and no one sees

But God-Almighty-Eternal-Life;

And he is wild, inventor of stars,

Flashes of craving babies blind,

Mish-mashing oxen with the plough,

Eagle of sweet destruction.
