THE WALLED PATH

To walk through City as in Myth,

Engage in re-enactments of Primal Scene
At every comer, to explode in light
And eternity, with every star;

To risk wreck of soul at night
In every tempting dark adventure,
Dangerous eyes leading further
In basements of abysmal lust:

Synchronisation of your juices
With mine, your eyes clasped
As stranger onto inner Myth
Of eternity, rousing a dreadful star;
Heavenly bodies thorwn in desire,
Souls entwining delicious agony.
