Poems Of War And Pain

The following poems, written in the 1980s and early 1990s, represented one way over time in which I could respond, with my sympathy and respect, to those who fought, suffered, or died in the Second World War; and to express some of my own pain and suffering as someone born under the shadow of that misery and insanity;  and also to express something of what I learnt from it all.
